The HR World Café – International HR experience exchange at Rödl & Partner

With our virtual event series “HR World Café”, we focus on current HR topics and start a regular dialog and exchange of experiences about ideas, projects and best practice examples in the various Rödl & Partner locations worldwide. The initiative for this exchange arose from the leadership model, which was the focus of the first HR World Café in September 2021.

The second HR World Café in February was centered on the topic of "Successful Onboarding". 16 colleagues from 12 countries actively used the opportunity to exchange ideas and share their experiences and best practices on onboarding.

After a welcome by the organizational team led by Anke Führlein, Head of the service unit Training and Development in Germany, and a brief round of networking, Aleksandra Ludynia, HR Manager in Poland, gave a keynote speech on the onboarding process. She took the participants along on her way of optimizing the onboarding process and gave insight into the challenges involved as well as the successes that were achieved. Last but not least, the established buddy program for new colleagues in Poland provided the impulse for the subsequent discussion and intensive brainstorming in small groups. Colleagues shared their best-practice experiences of a successful onboarding process with a view to the different onboarding phases starting with pre-boarding up to the first months. In this way, further ideas were developed together and food for thought was provided for the participants' own locations.

We are very pleased with the positive feedback from the colleagues who took part, and the great interest in the HR World Café. We are already looking forward to the next constructive and interactive exchange round on June 23, 2022.
