10 years jubilee of Neha Sharma

Hi, I am Neha Sharma. I work in Rödl & Partner, Delhi office. I am working here since Feb 2012. I got to know about Rödl & Partner India in 2008. I had just got my membership as a Company Secretary and Rödl & Partner was a newly incorporated entity, in phase of setting its foot in India and was working on expansion. I started as a consultant in 2012 and my job profile was to take care of company secretarial advisory, incorporation of the companies and undertaking the compliances of various client companies. 

It was the time when Rödl & Partner was establishing the company secretarial practice in India. Today I head the Company Secretarial Service line in Delhi office and was recently pleased to be promoted to Associate Partner in May 2022. Currently my core competency is in entry and exit advisory, advisory on joint ventures, foreign exchange regulation advisory and compliance governance.

During the last decade I have witnessed many moments of the continuous growth of Rödl & Partner in terms of the services that we offer and as a brand in India. However, the best memory that I have is when I got a chance to meet Dr. Bernd Rödl when he first visited India around in 2008 or 2009 (Yes, before my formal joining!), mee­ting him was surreal and listening to him was like many moments of enlightenment. 

What I appreciate the most about Rödl & Partner from an employee’s perspective is the opportunity of wholistic growth that we get here and the way it treats its employees i.e., like a human and not just a resource. 

I definitely see more growth coming to Rödl & Partner in India in future and I really wish to continue to be one of the part and contributor to that journey.

I would also take this opportunity to thank my senior and my constant mentor, Mr. Martin Woerlein, Head of India and South Asia Advisory, for his persistent trust in me and guidance that he imparted to me so patiently throughout these years.
